I grew up in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil in a small town well known for cutting and polishing gemstones. Family members were involved in this business. Designing and making my own jewelry was a natural choice for a career. After college I came to San Francisco 30 years ago and began to create an elegant line of rings, necklaces and earrings, simple in design, with a wide variety of colored gemstones. Working with sterling silver and 14K gold filled metals, my "finishes" are highly polished and many include textured patterns. Because color is very important to me and a personal expression of each individual, I offer about 20 different color stones to choose from. Customers can then mix and match to create their own fashion preferences. The craft of jewelry making is always evolving and this provides a challenge and inspiration to me.
